The concept of the INFRAVIA system is based on the development of its projects in BIM model, where it will be possible to navigate through the INFRAVIA AR app, being able to access data and properties associated to the elements, besides being able to make changes in design, inspections, comments and graphics annotations, attach photos of actual pavement conditions, among other features, capturing the exact location of the networks through geo-positioning and markers on the pavement through tags (some items are under development).
The INFRAVIA AR app is an integral part of the INFRAVIA system, developed based on Brazilian standard ABNT NBR 16584: 201716584:2017, that organizes and shares the networks of natural gas, telecommunications, water, electricity, street lighting, sewage and urban drainage under sidewalks and bike lanes as an innovative solution for smart cities.
The INFRAVIA system presents reduction of costs in the implementation of infrastructure networks of the order of 30% and up to 70% in the operation, maintenance and expansion, when compared to the current method of individualized network construction.
In addition to the direct economic benefits, potential gains related to urban mobility were observed due to the non obstruction of the streets for the construction and maintenance of the networks, environmental benefits due to the concept of "Zero Waste" in the construction and operation of the system, with the use of recycled material from waste and no generation of debris in its operation and maintenance.
Accessibility aspects: standardization of sidewalks and bike lanes along urban roads, improvements in infrastructure and worker safety, due the accurate indication in the position of the networks and protection structure, and transparency in facilities management, which occurs centrally.
In the area of network security and asset management, the INFRAVIA AR app acts through the holographic visualization of underground infrastructure networks with exceptional precision in real time, locating underground pipes, valves, cables and other objects of public utility.
The INFRAVIA AR app combines object holograms with object-specific data to provide insight to field technicians to understand the infrastructure needed to meet the same on-the-spot, fast and safely.
